Posts on Ye Olde Blog have been few and far between as of late, for various reasons with which I’ll refrain from boring you. It came to my attention through some friends that The Nester was hosting her annual #write31days challenge. While a bit daunting, frankly, I decided it would good for me to participate and get back to blogging on the regular. So, here we are.
I got a bit hung up on what “category” or “topic” my posts should fall into, honestly, and that stymied me for a few days. I tossed around a few ideas but finally settled on silver linings. It’s been a bit of a theme for me for for the past two years, certainly, and probably for most of my life, if I’m honest. Every day has it’s share of troubles; no doubt. But when I look back, I can almost always see some sliver of good that came from even the darkest of times – the cloud’s silver lining, if you will, where the sun still shone through.
And so I hope you’ll join me on this 31 day adventure of finding the good in the everyday struggles of this life. I can’t promise you’ll be better for it but I’m fairly certain I will be.

I love your topic! I am a big believer in silver linings. I believe there is always at least one.
(Also, I’m pleased to meet another person besides myself that uses the word stymied. My kids think I’m weird when I use it!)
