Fini!!!!!

I
AM
FINISHED
I was able to log back on this evening and complete the final exam and the last materials. I still need to be graded on my book review and my ministry participation verification…but right now, with the other tests, units, etc. I have an 87%

Woohoo!!

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and patience with me while I completed this. I can’t believe I got it finished! Now back to my Beth Moore study and my 90-day Bible reading plan.
: )

Oh no!!!

I finished my reading in the wee hours last night and worked on my book review during my lunch break today. After home group tonight, I came home and finished it and submitted it. It’s not as long as they’d like but I think it covers what it needed to.

Anyway, I decided to throw caution to the wind and take the final exam tonight. I was cruising along to question 16 of 50 when suddenly, I got an error message. I hit refresh and it bounced me back to the main page. When I tried to access the exam again, it said there were no assessment questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it. I emailed my instructor and also posted a frantic help message on our discussion board.

I’m going to bed.

Getting There

Another evening spent working on the course. I’ve finished all the units, now I just need to write a paper (need to finish the book I’m reading to write about it, however) and take the final exam. I’m getting there!!

Thanks to all for your prayers and encouragement. I will get this done – I really will – and maybe even before the end of the month!

The meeting went well. The policy manuals weren’t three-hole punched or bound but I brought the punch and people could do it themselves if they wanted. If not, they were still in a nice folder that would hold everything with no problem.

This meeting is always amazing to me. Three years ago, our team was tiny and was pretty much one ministry. We have grown to about 25 people and into a ministry with multiple components and leaders. I have to admit, too, that I am so thankful to God for raising up the leadership of this group. The vision he gave me for this ministry can only come to fruition through them and their teams. They are such a dedicated group – who care deeply for the children and youth and for our church overall.

It has been a hectic week, which turned into a very hectic weekend. Unfortunately, for several reasons, it doesn’t look like there is any end in sight in that regard. I think I am soon going to need a retreat weekend away!

Copyitis

I have been working on a new manual for everyone who works with children and youth at our church. I finally got it together and approved by the Pastor and set out today to make the copies. Problem is…the book is probably 50-60 pages and the church copier has no feeder. So each page gets put on the glass and copied 30 times…and if you want double sides…well, then.

But it is finally copied. I have literally been copying for FOUR hours. Now it needs collated, three-hole punched and bound. For a meeting tomorrow afternoon. And I have my office holiday party in an hour.

Yikes!! Wish me luck!
